Tarahumara School Projects

Elderhostel participants attending programs through the Davis Mountains Education Center donate money and school supplies to benefit the Tarahumara school children in the Copper Canyon region.

The children appreciate the school supplies, vitamins, and sports supplies including a basketball net and backboard. Money from the DMEC has helped to build new facilities for the school children in this economically challenged region.
