About DMEC

Davis Mountains Education Center (DMEC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization offering Exploritas, formerly Elderhostel, and school and youth programming for more than 20 years. DMEC is the premier provider of educational tours in West Texas and Northern Mexico's Copper Canyon.

Our Mission

To provide exceptional, affordable outdoor educational programs, in which youth and adults explore and learn about history, culture, and science hands on in the mountain and desert environments of Texas, New Mexico, and Northern Mexico.
