Ask about our boxed lunches and specialty dinner menu available to individuals and groups with advance reservations.
The Gathering Place

Classroom set up with refreshments
Our Gathering Place is a great place to attend a lecture, hold a retreat or meeting, gather with family & friends, enjoy local entertainment or watch T.V. and play board games.
Leisure Activities

Mouflan ram in back yard
Toss a frisbee or take a nature walk on our 10-acre fenced property. Our resident Texas horned lizard, Spike, is often spotted lounging between the cabins. Cactus wren, black-chinned hummingbirds, curvebilled thrasher and Say's Phoebe nest here. Herds of mouflan, javelina, antelope and deer roam near the property. And occasionally, we spot a ring-tailed cat or a fox!
With advance reservations, we can arrange a private star party with our astronomer on our star pad. Or bring your own telescope to set up!
If you must go back indoors, we have a T.V. with DishNetwork programming in the Gathering Place. We also have a small library of books, a piano, playing cards, puzzles and board games for your entertainment.
Guest Comments
We strive to exceed our guests' expectations. If you enjoyed your stay, please let us know what we did well! If we could have done something to improve your stay, we want to know that also.
Here is what one recent guest from Marble Falls, TX, had to say, "Scott....we especially enjoyed the listening times with you about our Texas History, the Indian info (we are reading the book "9 years among the indians" by Herman Lehmann), and your own story. Jenny....your smile and cooking are the things that legends are made of. Both of you made our stay an experience and not just a room to sleep in."
