Location

The Davis Mountains Education Center lies on 10 acres overlooking the town of Fort Davis, Texas. We are just one mile south of the town square on the east side of Highway 118.

Facilities

Our historic tourist court and cabins offer a relaxing, inviting atmosphere for your group. The gathering place, sitting porch, kitchen, and dining room are all within easy walking distance. Cabins have two double beds, private baths, kitchenettes, and porches overlooking the Davis Mountains and the Chihuahuan Desert.

A computer with Internet access, wireless Internet access for your laptop, and telephone (local calls or calling cards only) are available in the lobby.

A covered outdoor patio and grill, cozy dining room, and classroom or meeting space with overhead projector are available for a small fee. There is no charge for the use of the facility if your group stays and eats onsite.

A telescope and star pad located on site allow for star gazing with our staff astronomer. Advance reservations are required.
